Taking in all those moments from traveling and capturing them in art. Mainly food – that’s what I connect with the most when I travel, because it‘s memory, experience and emotion wrapped in indulgence. Food is how I immerse myself in a place, and how I remember those fleeting moments long after I am back home.
With each piece of the Taiwan series, I take something that stayed with me – a taste, a feeling, a memory – and distill it into an artwork that reflects my experience and interpretation.
