Panthella was designed in 1971 by Verner Panton in collaboration with the Danish lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen. This lamp is pure ’70s magic with its perfect round shape and dreamy diffused light, and since its release, it has risen to become one of the most iconic lamp shapes.

Panton originally imagined Panthella in metal, but technological limitations back then meant acrylic was the way to go. Today, Louis Poulsen offers metal versions, finally bringing Panton’s original vision to life. Just looking at the smooth surface and balanced lines is a visual spa for the eyes, don’t you think?
